Do you want to be a part of a ground-breaking approach to saving species from extinction? Back from the Brink is a new £6.6million HLF-funded programme delivered by a partnership of England’s leading nature conservation organisations. We are building a team of enthusiastic and experienced individuals across the partnership to undertake conservation work and inspire the nation to discover, value and act for threatened species.

Plantlife are seeking an experienced Technical and Training Officer for the Colour in the Margins integrated project, which targets the conservation of 13 species that occur in arable habitat. You will lead delivery of the training programme for partner staff, volunteers and farmers and provide technical support to the project team. You will also be responsible for delivering the project in Somerset and Kent. You will need to have highly developed arable plant and habitat conservation knowledge and an in depth knowledge of modern farming issues, combined with experience of providing advice to land managers and training conservation professionals or volunteers in species identification. You will be working with other Back from the Brink projects and project partners. The post will be line-managed by the Plantlife Colour in the Margins Project Manager.

Interviews will be held on 13th November in Salisbury.
