We are currently recruiting for an Environmental Educator who will develop, plan and deliver a wide variety of educational and environmental programmes and activities for children, young people and adults across North Wales. 

This role will work in particular with the more vulnerable groups within communities including young people, older people and people with disabilities engaging them in educational and environmental activities that build confidence and provide beneficial and transferable skills.

Person Specification 

  • PGCE or Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent .    
  • Experience of planning and delivering schemes of work, education projects and activities.
  • Ability to lead and manage groups of young people aged 7-18.
  • Have the necessary skills to manage safely classroom activities, the physical learning space and resources for which they are responsible.
  • Understand and be able to use a range of strategies to deal with classroom behaviour as whole and also individual behavioural needs
  • Excellent IT Skills.
  • Understanding of health & safety and its application in work practices.

This post will report to the Senior Education Coordinator and be part of the Education team in Wrexham.
