Senior Biosecurity Specialist - Plant Healthy

Location: RHS Garden Wisley, Surrey (hybrid/flexible working)
Hours: 37.5 PW

Overview of the Role:

If you have a passion for applied plant health and biosecurity, and are keen to have a positive impact, then the role of Senior Biosecurity Specialist – Plant Healthy could be for you. The focus of the role will be to work closely with garden and retail staff at all five RHS Gardens, to enable Plant Healthy certification, biosecure plant reception policies and thereby, contribute to the delivery of the RHS Sustainability Strategy and RHS’s six plant health principles.

Based at Hilltop, the Home of Gardening Science, at Wisley Gardens the Senior Biosecurity Specialist will work with and support colleagues in the Biosecurity team, and more widely to enhance biosecurity practices across the RHS. The Plant Health team aims to facilitate healthy plants and healthy gardens across the UK and so support environmental resilience.
