We are looking for an innovative and creative manager to lead and drive forward our outdoor education and experience programmes at Fordhall Organic Farm, all providing practical and nurturing experiences for children, young people and vulnerable adults.
Experiences are at the heart of the Fordhall Community Land Initiative’s work. We believe that by creating memorable, fun experiences we will be taking the first steps in influencing behavioral change. With proven management capability and experience of working with both vulnerable adults and young people, you will lead and coach our delivery team to ensure we are taking a person-centered approach to nurturing and supporting those who access our outdoor services.
With compassion and empathy, you will empower those we work with to achieve new heights, build their independence, and their feeling of self-worth through connections to the land, soil and nature. Leading a strong and dedicated team of 4-5 staff, your exceptional communication skills, knowledge of safeguarding, attention to detail and positive approach will ensure we are continually improving our services, recording our impact, working within budget, and developing strong relationships with our partners.
This role is about having a positive and lasting impact on the hearts and minds of all those who attend the care farm, youth project and other outdoor or educational experiences we provide, and whilst doing so, you will be nurturing the soil and environment around you.
