The Engagement Trainee will assist in the coordination and delivery of events and activities, whilst developing their skills and confidence of working with communities and the environmental sector.

Salary: £23,633

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week).

Fixed term contract: 18 months

Friends of the Lake District is an influential landscape conservation charity, founded in 1934 by campaigners who believed passionately in protecting the beautiful landscapes of Cumbria, and 90 years on we remain committed to this cause. Over the next three years we'll be delivering a new strategy for the charity, based on months of careful research and consultation. As a result, we're expanding and bringing new resources into many areas of the organisation to help make us fit for the next 90 years. You'll be joining us at a great time to build on our successes and help shape our future.
