Ecologist / Senior Ecologist

Due to a steadily increasing order book, we are currently seeking an ecologist to join our friendly team. We are looking for people that have a good understanding of terrestrial habitats and protected species survey techniques, and have great communication and report-writing skills.

We are inviting professionals with previous or current experience to apply.

Key requirements for the role are:

• Experience with managing projects and preparing reports
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience
• Appropriate degree/professional qualification(s)
• CIEEM Membership
• IT skills with knowledge of full Microsoft Office package
• A full UK driving licence

Core responsibilities of the position will include:

• Completion of baseline ecological habitat surveys
• Completion of protected species surveys
• Liaising and working with specialist sub-consultants (as required)
• Preparation of reports and data handling to support site and other survey work

Desirable requirements for the role are: 

• Hold one or more protected species licences
• CSCS Card
