Japanese Knotweed Solutions Ltd are actively looking to take on a new invasive plant surveyor to start in 2025. The company are going through a period of expansion and are looking to find an enthusiastic applicant to take the business forward.

We are a family owned company and are looking for somebody with personality and character, able to meet new people and sell our services in an honest and environmentally aware manner.

Knowledge and interest in invasive species establishment and management would be ideal.

The role will involve the following day to day tasks;

  • Working from our base in Bury, Manchester
  • Home office working available
  • Site visits throughout the UK
  • Report writing
  • AutoCAD drawings
  • Pricing of projects
  • Following up projects/ leads and securing contracts
  • Working to sales targets - bonus paid on successful monthly basis
  • Assisting our Operations Department and site teams with works on site

We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, reliable individual with good communication skills and a positive professional attitude at all times. Ideally the candidate will already have experience within our industry but training will be provided.

Ideal position for a university graduate.

Company vehicle will be provided.

Staying away may be required - this will involve overnight stays, nationwide, with hotels arranged by the company and an overnight allowance including evening meal, breakfast, gym membership, internet allowance.

Working hours are typically 8am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

There is a stakeholder pension scheme.

The following skills are required;

  • Computer literate
  • Full clean UK driving license
  • Plant knowledge
  • AutoCAD

The following would be advantageous but not mandatory;

  • Relevant degree
  • PCA CSJK qualified
  • BASIS qualified
  • PA1, PA6, PA6AW
  • CSCS card
  • IOSH or NEBOSH

Successful candidates will be well presented and have a strong work ethic, as well as being a team player.
