Salary: £41,408 to £44,428 per annum

This new role within our Environment & Sustainability Team presents an exciting chance to shape and drive a range of sustainability initiatives and guide the Council's response to climate change. We seek a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to help develop and implement Rutland's Sustainability Strategy, aligning it with key priorities in our corporate plan.
Recognising the Council's critical role in addressing climate change and sustainability, we collaborate with local businesses, community organisations, and government partners to influence policies and actions that promote net-zero and sustainability goals across the County.
We have several ongoing projects, including the development of a Local Nature Recovery Plan, and a consortium-driven initiative to expand electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Rutland. Sustainability is embedded in our operations, and we aim to further integrate it into everything we do.
