We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Programme Manager to lead the Tir Canol initiative. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the management of multiple projects under the Tir Canol umbrella, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

This role can be home-based or can be conducted at the Forestry Hub in Machynlleth.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Project Manager within the Tir Canol team, managing budgets and 5 projects plus a team of 4 staff.
• Overseeing the management of the various projects under the umbrella of Tir Canol, including reporting, budgeting, writing project specs, tender docs, recruitment, coms plan, risk register, responsible for overall progress, prevent scope creep. Direct and motivate the Tir Canol team. 
• To deliver and update the Tir Canol Blueprint while remaining true to the co-design/co-production approach. Overseeing and supporting the delivery of currently 5 projects Llif, Maes, Celf, Nature Offier work and Changing Tides. Line Management of 4 staff, engagement with steering group partners, internal and external liaison. 
• Development of Tir Canol into a legal entity allowing it to stand independently from RSPB, whilst retaining close links with Tir Canol partners. Produce progress reports for the partnership and be the face of the Tir Canol programme promoting it in the local area, Welsh Gov and key figures within Wales and the partnership.

• Demonstrable ability to provide advice and interpretation of procedures associated with project management
• Logical and methodical analytical and a good eye for detail
• Cost and budget management experience
• Experience of delivering a number of projects
• Experience of leading and managing multidisciplinary teams
• Welsh speaker
• Project management qualification or appropriate training - Desirable
• Demonstrable experience of developing and working in partnerships to achieve shared outcomes - Desirable
