We are living through a climate emergency, where our actions and behaviours are having a devastating impact on the planet. ReLondon is a partnership of the Mayor of London and the London boroughs to transform the city into a low carbon circular economy, with a mission to revolutionise our relationship with stuff and help London waste less and reuse, repair, share and recycle more.

To help London’s innovative small businesses play their vital role in this, we are looking for a motivated business engagement specialist with a strong external focus and excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Sitting within our business transformation team, you will be one of two engagement leads who play a critical relationship management role, attracting new businesses to the programme and building a strong sense of community amongst existing businesses in our network. 

As you will be responsible for designing and rolling out online and in-person events, digital content and other engagement approaches, you should be a strong communicator, able to craft compelling written, visual and in-person narratives, as well as skilled in delivering engaging and valued networking events.

A curiosity about small businesses’ challenges, demonstrated ability to form trusted professional relationships, and sustained diligence when multi-tasking, will all be additional factors that would make you a stand-out candidate.
