Fuel poverty Workshop 3: Identifying the right project for your group - Community Energy London
About this event
Following our first workshop in May 2022 setting out the current challenges around the increasing incidence of fuel poverty in London, our June event focused on routes for securing funding for projects (Fuel Poverty and Energy Advice). Our forthcoming third workshop will be helping identify the right project for your group.
This session is designed for community groups and voluntary organisations who want to host an energy advice project in their local area and provide practical support and guidance for those struggling to pay their energy bills. You’ll hear from sector specialists, meet others on a similar path and come away with useful tips.
We will have presentations from groups experienced in delivering support projects for their local communities to help provide energy bill advice, energy efficiency support and routes to secure funding for households to help deal with the cost of living crisis. We will also undertake a practical exercise in breakout groups to help you through a process to help identify the best type for project for where your group is at, while incorporating the need locally.
