Expect a combination of an indoor introduction and outdoor practicals.

Learning outcomes:

  • An introduction to the identifying birds, both common and rare, by sight and sound during Autumn
  • Obtain key tips on how to distinguish between similar looking & sounding birds
  • Learn and practice ID techniques with a guide
  • Discover how your sightings can directly contribute to local conservation efforts

This course will be delivered by Matt Collis at Grow Wilder (formerly Feed Bristol), our inspiring six-acre wildlife gardening hub, where people and wildlife thrive in a productive setting. The wildlife nursery will also be open for those who wish to buy some plants.
