Craig Dunton will be joining us in this online talk, he has over 10 years’ experience of working in wildlife conservation, with the past 5 years on landscape scale projects focusing on bats and grasslands. He currently works on two projects; the Avon Valley Project, led by Devon Wildlife Trust and for the Bat Conservation Trust as Grey long eared bat project officer, working to protect this threatened species and enhance it’s habitats throughout South and East Devon.

This talk will give a brief overview of Back from the Brink and the grey long-eared bat species recovery project. It will cover ecology and habitat requirements of the grey long-eared bat, work progress to date, and successes and challenges with habitat restoration and monitoring.
