Whether you're new or have some previous experience, join DWT’s Hamish Murray on an exploration around Powerstock Common and Kingcombe Meadows nature reserves and learn how to identify a wide selection of plant and animal species.

Explore the incredible biodiversity of the Kingcombe Meadows with DWT Conservation Officer Hamish Murray. Over the 2 day course we will look in depth at the wildflowers, insects, birds and other wildlife to be found in this internationally important Nature Reserve. We will also look at how to identify wildlife using photography, notebooks, field guides, apps and the internet.

The emphasis will be on enjoyment of this wonderful reserve and its wildlife but there will also be plenty of opportunities for more detailed study depending on the requirements of course members. By the end of the course, you will hopefully be able to identify more of Dorset's wonderfully diverse wildlife - whatever your level of expertise.
