Harapan Rainforest is an innovative project to protect and restore a former logging concession (c 1000 km2) in Sumatra. We are looking for a Senior level Scientist to work with the Research and Conservation Department at Harapan Rainforest (HRF). You will develop the science required to support the effective restoration of the site so you will need particular skills and experience in tropical forest restoration. You will work closely with the HRF Forest Operations Department to deliver restoration activities according to best practise. You will undertake research to contribute to the successful restoration of the site in particular and advance our understanding of tropical forest restoration in general.
