Article 25 is a young and driven international development and disaster relief charity, based in central London. We design and deliver buildings and structures for those in greatest need worldwide. We envision a world where there is never a life or livelihood lost through the want of an essential building.
We believe that by making our skills and designs available where they are most needed, through community based projects, we can make a real difference in helping communities to meet their basic needs and create a healthy society.
Article 25 also maintain the BEAR database (Built Environment Action Register) which is used to contact volunteer architects, engineers, surveyors and project managers (and other relevant professionals) for post-disaster rebuilding and development. BEAR is a call to ALL built environment professionals to contribute time, skills, and expertise for humanitarian and development architecture projects. The BEAR database is a resource maintained by Article 25 for the benefit of all (local or international) charities and NGOs in need of building-related professional services.
