About the opportunity

As part of the ongoing development process of Soil Association Certification Limited Forestry programme we are now recruiting and welcome interest from highly motivated individuals with suitable qualifications and experience to contribute to the delivery our forestry and chain of custody certification schemes.

About the role

This is a supporting role assisting team members who deal with Forest Managers and/or Wood processors guiding new and existing clients through the certification process in a timely manner. You will ensure that all requirements of the FSC and other relevant bodies are met and adhered to.

About you

To be successful in this role you must be educated to degree level or equivalent in Forestry, Wood Science, Ecology, Environment or related subject. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy and a confident approach to service delivery and the ability to provide solutions within tight deadlines are essential.

Ideally you will have some administrative and customer care experience alongside experience of forest management, environmental management, wood industry or related discipline. It would also be advantageous to have a basic understanding of a foreign language.
