The Bat Conservation Trust (BCT) works across many sectors to help all those whose work or volunteering brings them in to contact with bats. BCT is recruiting a Scottish Bat Officer to deliver BCT aims for bat conservation in Scotland, working with Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) and other key stakeholders. BCT’s Scottish Bat Project is supported by SNH and other funders.

Applicants should have significant experience of working in the wildlife sector with volunteers and professionals, managing programmes of work, and delivering training to a variety of audiences. The ideal candidate will have a good level of knowledge of bat conservation, have delivered training, be a highly efficient and self-motivated person, with excellent communication and administration skills.
