Salary: £21,773.51 pro rata (0.5 FTE) plus 9% pension contribution after 6 months

Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust works to build a better future for people and wildlife. We have nearly 6,000 members, manage 13 local nature reserves and help to inspire and engage people of all ages in their local wildlife. We are one of 47 Wildlife Trusts nationwide.

Are you passionate about standing up for the Natural Environment? We are. Our advocacy work has increased and we need another person to help us respond professionally to the large number of pressures and opportunities.

Key duties will include,

  • Working with colleagues to read and respond to consultations and reports
  • Scanning planning application for any the Trust may need to respond to
  • Organising meeting and taking professional minutes
  • Contributing to communications for our current campaigns
  • Drafting responses/letters in response to pressures/requests
  • Preparing case studies to showcase the Trust’s expertise

To apply for this role you will need to be a professional advocate for the natural environment. You will need to be flexible, with good administrative and communication skills and the ability to respond diplomatically as part of a team and respected organisation.
