Nottingham Energy Partnership (NEP) is a Queens Award winning charity for Enterprise in Sustainable Development, the highest accolade for a UK business. As part of the development of their Healthy Housing Service they require a Community Engagement Officer. This post is designed to provide support to the Healthy Housing team particularly in preparing individual grant applications to help disadvantaged client groups tackle fuel poverty issues and reduce their carbon emissions. You will also assist with the delivery of the training programme for frontline staff about the importance of tackling fuel poverty as well as the energy saving workshops for community groups. The role includes both administrative and fundraising duties.

We are looking for an energetic motivated individual with experience in fundraising, delivering presentations, marketing or customer service capacity with a strong commitment to excellent support, and a personal and organised approach to maintaining their workload.

Ideally you will have experience working within the domestic energy sector and or a track record of providing training and workshops.

You will be part of a busy, target-focused and supportive team. Your role will also involve dealing with both inbound and outbound advice calls, supporting clients and providing them with independent and impartial quality advice about how to save energy and money and essentially enhance the householder’s knowledge and understanding of the energy markets.
