An opportunity to join a hardworking, committed team seeking to reduce Leicestershire County Council’s environmental impacts and to reduce carbon emissions across Leicestershire.

The role requires a good understanding of environmental issues and the current policy and strategic context. You should have experience of developing, delivering and managing environmental projects and developing strong partnerships with a variety of stakeholders from the public, private and voluntary sectors. Good communication and presentation skills, together with the ability to negotiate, shape and influence to achieve successful outcomes are important.

The role requires someone who can work on their own initiative and be an integral part of a team. You should be able to work to tight timescales and deliver agreed targets with a customer focussed and outcomes based approach.
