IT Support Officer (Ref: SUS2090)
£21,534 - £24,103 per annum (dependent on relevant skills and experience)
37.5 hours per week – based in central Bristol
This role will play a key part, working with the IT Support Team Supervisor, in delivering an excellent IT Helpdesk Service function, working with the rest of the support team to meet and exceed agreed KPI’s as part of the IT Action Plan.
Educated to degree level or equivalent or with relevant IT training, you will have previous experience in a similar role with broad experience of IT support services through management and completion of support tickets, ensuring quick fault-finding and resolution. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent problem analysis and solving skills, good time management and prioritisation skills and the ability to progress projects in an efficient manner. You will have systems administration experience of at least MS Windows Service 2003 onwards and knowledge of service tickets, installation and configuration of MS Office 2010 or higher, networking technologies, workstation hardware, Windows deployment via WDS and general first and second line IT support. A commitment to the ideals of sustainable transport would be an advantage.
