Are you looking for an exciting role helping and inspiring others to volunteer for nature? We need a talented individual who is passionate about volunteering and has a great way with people, to support our 23 Local Groups across the 13 counties of the RSPB Midlands Region.

Local Group volunteers fly the flag for nature in their local communities, inspiring people to support us, raising money and sharing their passions for birds and wildlife through talks, walks and other social events. They are our supporters on the ground, providing activities for like-minded people to get together and share their love of wildlife.

You will work closely with these volunteers to provide leadership, support and advice, to enable them to deliver high quality events and activities that support the RSPB's vital mission to save nature. An excellent communicator, skilled at building and managing relationships, and with good organisational skills, you will have experience of working with and managing volunteers. In order to attend meetings and events, you will need to be confident to travel across the region and work flexibly.
