As part of our continued growth we require two Assistant Ecological Consultants to work in our growing ecology teams in Corby (Northamptonshire) and Chipping Norton (Oxfordshire). The roles will encompass:

  • Operating at all times in accordance with the CIEEM Professional Code of Conduct.

The successful candidates will demonstrate a flexible and enthusiastic approach to the work that they are interested in, and that motivates them to want to make a difference. They should have successfully completed a degree in ecology or related discipline, have at least 1 year of professional consultancy experience, be able to work on their own and within a team and hold a Natural England great crested newt (GCN) survey licence. A strong level of technical understanding and experience with bats (survey and mitigation), further protected species licences, a higher degree and additional consultancy or relevant experience would be desirable additional to the basic requirements.

We offer a basic salary of £19-21k plus an excellent benefits package of pension, training and outdoor equipment allowance plus flexible working opportunities.
